Zoe-perry
Perry was born on the 25th of July 1968 in Chicago In Illinois, she was the child of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. Her first television appearances were Jackie Harris on ABC's sitcom Roseanne. Her mother played her role. Fearing stress, her parents didn't want to see the actress pursue acting until turning 18. Perry shy and shy to be a part of the theater in her high school, started to act in the theater at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new friends. When she graduated, Perry went into New York to search for TV work, landing a few roles in shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent however, her homesickness led her back to California where she found theatre work. Perry was a part of Broadway with her mother in The Other Place with her mother in 2013. Her father Kevin McKidd performed in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer prize-winning film Anna Christie together with her in 2015. Perry was in nine episodes of the ABC crime thriller The Family in 2016. In 2017, she played a supporting role in the ABC political drama Scandal in which her father was the main character. The same year, she portrayed a child model of Mary Cooper on Young Sheldon (a CBS spinoff The Big Bang Theory) as her mother in a younger version. Despite her family link to the character, she was offered the role through an audition.
