Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in the US for the past 40 years. Her most well-known role is for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s television show Gilligan's Island). Her stage work began in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. In the 1950s she performed as a stage performer in several Broadway productions before gaining into the spotlight with her hit song 'Lil' Abner' in 1957. She released her album It's Too Late for Tina that following year. Louise was first seen on the screen in Hollywood with God's Little Acre which was a dramatic which was made in 1958. She performed the role of Griselda who was a character from the movie. In this time, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. Her next unforgettable role was in 1964. She was signed by CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise had a successful career in Hollywood as well as Broadway, playing somber characters that reflected her reputation as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series, as well as Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Recently Tapping has also emerged as the most sought-after director for popular television shows like Supernatural and The 100. Born on August 28, 1965, in Essex.
